Beautiful day (Sat, 20/9/08), beautiful plaece:

Autumn

Picked up some conkers cycling down Maida Vale. Strongly evocative of childhood - shorts, school uniform and relatively stable peer group that I used to meet Monday to Friday for around a decade.

Regency Cafe

The cashier at the Regency Cafe is a small woman, but she has a powerful set of vocal chords. No doubt they’re kept in fine fettle by the intermittent calling - bellowing of orders ready for pick up.

A secret world

A strange little modern house with triangular roofing. Built against a red brick wall, under large horse chestnut trees.
